Patna, April 22 : Reiterating his commitment to provide 24 hours Health Services in Acute Encephalitis Syndrome ( AES ) affected districts, Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey said on Friday that the health department has made elaborate arrangements for prevention and treatment of AES. Pandey said that to ensure 24 hours availability of doctors and nurses at health centres, an updated Darpan Plus app was being installed in the mobile phones for making daily attendance of the doctors and nurses. The AES patients would get timely treatment at the hospitals, he maintained . In order to provide better treatment at Government Primary Health centres in all AES affected 12 districts availability of Superintendent, medical officer incharge, specialist doctors have been ensured. He said that there will not be any dearth of required medicines at the health centres where other infrastructure needed to facilitate timely treatment of the patients were in place . Pande said that Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, Patna, West Champaran, East Champaran, Saran, Siwan, Vaishali, Sitamarhi and Sheohar have been included in the list of most AES affected districts.
