Patna: Rohini Acharya, daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, has voiced serious concerns about the current state of the party, its leadership, and internal dynamics. Her remarks have sparked discussions about ongoing ideological and organisational tensions within the RJD.
In a post on the social media platform X, Rohini Acharya stated, “Anyone who truly represents Lalu’s ideology, who has selflessly fought for the marginalized sections that Lalu Ji stood for, and who values his continuous efforts towards socio-economic justice, will surely question those responsible for the party’s present decline.”
She further expressed that the harsh and worrying reality today is that the leadership of the party, which was known for fighting for people’s rights, is now allegedly in the hands of infiltrators and conspirators sent by fascist opponents with the task of destroying Laluism. She claimed these individuals have largely succeeded in their malign intentions.
Rohini Acharya also criticised the current leaders for avoiding accountability. She wrote that those in charge must stop evading questions, giving evasive answers, spreading misinformation, mistreating loyal supporters, and using abusive language. Instead, they should introspect. If they remain silent, it will only confirm their complicity with the conspirators.
Her comments highlight the internal challenges faced by the RJD as it navigates leadership disputes and ideological differences within its ranks.
