Ahmedabad, February 25: BJP leader Rohan Gupta has raised questions about Priyanka Gandhi’s stance, referencing a statement by BJP National President Nitin Naveen regarding Congress’s handling of issues related to China and Gaza.

Gupta stated that Naveen has effectively held a mirror to Congress, highlighting how the party compromised national security and integrity during its 60 years in power.

He emphasized that the term “compromise” is entirely fitting for Congress. “When we talk about Vande Mataram, compromises were made. Compromises led to the partition due to appeasement. Congress gifted Tibet to China and sacrificed Aksai Chin. The history of Congress is one of compromise,” he remarked. He urged Congress to reflect on its past, asserting that the nation is still paying the price for its compromises.

Gupta further noted that since the Modi government took office, the narrative has shifted from compromise to “no compromise.” He highlighted that under Modi’s leadership, there is zero tolerance for terrorism and no compromise on corruption. He advised Congress to refrain from discussing compromise. He criticized the party for compromising the hard work of the 1.4 billion citizens during the AI Summit. Today, he said, the nation is asking Congress if it is ready to apologize for its compromises. Is it willing to engage in an honest discussion about this?

He pointed out that the public is aware of Congress’s past, which is why the party is struggling to win in any state or local elections. If Congress regains power, it will likely revert to its politics of compromise. He mentioned that in the few states where Congress still holds influence, such as Telangana and Karnataka, compromises continue to be made, whether in terms of corruption or appeasement.
