Virudhunagar, Mar 18 : Three people were killed on the spot and seven others including six students were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a college bus on the Rajapalayam-Tenkasi road here on Friday, police said. The deceased were identified as N Muthukumar (44), his wife M Rajeswari (40) and their maid Mayakkal (65), hailing from Srirangam in Tiruchirapalli district. Six students and the college bus driver were injured in the accident and were treated at the government hospital. Further investigations were underway, police added. GSM JNA
