Chennai, May 18: The film ‘Karuppu,’ starring actor Suriya, has received an overwhelming response since its release on May 14. Amidst the box office success, director RJ Balaji took to social media to make a heartfelt appeal to both audiences and theater staff.
He urged that if any viewer appears overly excited during the screening, they should be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. In his statement, RJ Balaji expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the theater and showed love for ‘Karuppu.’ He remarked, “We never imagined receiving such affection when we began making this film.”
The director shared that he has been receiving numerous emotional stories from viewers both within Tamil Nadu and beyond. Many audience members have been cheering, crying, and some even reported feeling a divine experience while watching the film. RJ Balaji described this as the greatest blessing for the movie.
