RITES trades higher on entering into MoU with IIT-Roorkee

Rites is currently trading at Rs. 279.50, up by 1.75 points or 0.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 277.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 279.90 and Rs. 277.65 respectively. So far 945 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 318.00 on 25-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 232.40 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 279.00 and Rs. 269.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6674.38 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.64% and 10.16% respectively.

RITES has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT-R) to explore viable business opportunities in the infrastructure sector.

Under this agreement, RITES and IIT-R will collaborate for knowledge sharing, research and development and technical services, including consultancy assignments etc. The partnership intends to bring in best practices by leveraging each other’s expertise and to push the vision of building sustainable and robust infrastructure in the country and abroad.
