Rinku Singhs Stellar Performance Leads KKR to 155 Against LSG

Lucknow, April 27: In the 38th match of IPL 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) faced off against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. Batting first, KKR scored 155 runs after losing 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

After losing the toss, KKR’s innings began poorly. Tim Seifert was dismissed without scoring, falling to Mohsin Khan. Following him, Angkrish Raghuvanshi managed only 9 runs before being out, while captain Ajinkya Rahane scored just 10 runs off 15 balls.

Rowman Powell contributed only a single run. Cameron Green attempted to stabilize the faltering innings, scoring 34 runs off 21 balls, including 3 sixes, before losing his wicket. Anukul Roy was dismissed without scoring, and Ramandeep Singh added just 6 runs from 11 balls.

Rinku Singh, however, delivered an outstanding performance, remaining unbeaten with 83 runs off 50 balls, hitting 7 fours and 5 sixes. Sunil Narine supported him with 4 runs not out. On the bowling front, Mohsin Khan from LSG excelled, taking 5 wickets for just 23 runs in 4 overs. George Linde also claimed a wicket, conceding only 18 runs.

Under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane, KKR featured Tim Seifert (wicketkeeper), Cameron Green, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Rowman Powell, Rinku Singh, Sunil Narine, Ramandeep Singh, Anukul Roy, Vaibhav Arora, and Kartik Tyagi. Meanwhile, LSG, led by Rishabh Pant, included Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Mukul Chaudhary, George Linde, Mohammed Shami, Prince Yadav, Digvijay Singh Rathi, and Mohsin Khan in their lineup.
