New Delhi, February 14: On the 7th anniversary of the Pulwama attack, several opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, paid tribute to the martyrs. Rahul Gandhi stated that the nation will always be indebted to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the protection of India.
In a post on the social media platform X, Rahul Gandhi expressed, “My heartfelt tribute to our brave soldiers who were martyred in the audacious terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019. The nation will always be indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice in defending Mother India.” He also shared a photo from his visit to Jammu and Kashmir.
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also honored the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Pulwama attack. She wrote, “We will always be indebted to our martyrs and their families. The courage, dedication, service, and sacrifice of our brave soldiers are exemplary for all of us.”
Earlier, Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha and the national president of Congress, paid tribute to the brave soldiers. In a post on X, Kharge wrote, “We pay our humble tribute to those brave martyrs of Mother India who sacrificed their lives in Pulwama. The indomitable courage of these brave soldiers and their unwavering dedication to the nation will always remain in our memories. Their supreme sacrifice will be immortal.”
Sharad Pawar, the leader of NCP-SP, remarked, “Indian soldiers have always maintained the security and sovereignty of the country through their courage, bravery, sacrifice, and dedication. Their unwavering patriotism will always be remembered. I pay my humble tribute to all the soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama terrorist attack.”
West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee stated, “I salute the brave CRPF soldiers who were martyred in the Pulwama attack on this very day in 2019.”
