Reliance Industries rises after its arm invests in SkyTran

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2549.90, up by 23.90 points or 0.95% from its previous closing of Rs. 2526.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2535.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2560.50 and Rs. 2533.10 respectively. So far 228937 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2855.00 on 29-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2181.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2560.50 and Rs. 2433.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1721945.48 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.57%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.65% and 10.78% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ wholly owned subsidiary — Reliance Strategic Business Ventures (RSBVL) has invested an amount of USD 15 million in its subsidiary, SkyTran Inc. RSBVL has invested in SkyTran to increase its shareholding to 62.83% on a fully diluted basis.
