Realme has been generating buzz in China with teasers of its upcoming Neo 8 smartphone, positioned as an affordable flagship device. The phone has now surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, providing an early glimpse into its performance capabilities.

Realme Neo 8 Geekbench Details

The Realme Neo 8 appears on Geekbench under the model number RMX8899. The listing confirms it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a top-tier chipset for flagship phones. The device is equipped with 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 16 out of the box.

On Geekbench 6.5, the Neo 8 achieved a single-core score of 2,876 and a multi-core score of 9,245, reflecting strong flagship-level performance.

Expected Specifications of Realme Neo 8

Leaks suggest the Neo 8 will feature a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate. An ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor is also expected to be part of the package.

The phone will likely include LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, supporting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Photography features may include a triple rear camera setup with a periscope telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Powering the device is expected to be a large 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The build is anticipated to have a metal frame combined with a glass back, along with IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

Realme is expected to launch the Neo 8 sometime later this month, though the exact date remains unconfirmed. This smartphone will join a competitive lineup of Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered devices, including the iQOO Z11 Turbo, Moto X70 Pro Air, and the already launched OnePlus Ace 6T.
