Real Estate Vision-2030, insurance scheme for labourers launched at CREDAI FAIRPRO

Chennai, Mar 5 : Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Minister S. Muthusamy on Saturday unveiled ‘Real Estate Vision-2030″ and launched the Construction labourers welfare and insurance scheme for one lakh workers. The vision document and the insurance scheme by the CREDAI Chennai Foundation and TN Construction Workers Welfare Board was launched at the CREDAI FAIRPRO-2022 in the presence of CREDAI Chennai President Padam Dugar. CREDAI Chennai Secretary Arumugam explained the welfare schemes they are proposing for labourers, and a few labourers furnished the scheme document to the Minister, who outlined nine different schemes that could benefit the labourer’s standard of living. The insurance scheme covering over one lakh labourers was an initiative by the State government where they will be participating to ensure all the labourers whether they are migrant or local worker are registered into this program. This program will cover and support the labourer and his family in many aspects from accidents to maternity regardless of which project or builder they are working for. This FAIRPRO 2022 assumes a lot of significance as it will be a game changer for the real estate industry acting as a catalyst. This calendar event is one of the most awaited property showcases, where the customers make their buying decisions. The pandemic has emphasized the need for having an abode to all their own and the comfort and benefits a safe and secure home can offer them.
