The Operation Unfolds

Acting on a tip-off, Udaipur police formed two teams under the supervision of SP Yogesh Goyal. The first team, led by Girwa Deputy Superintendent Surveer Singh, raided the โ€œPiyakal Priyank PP Farmhouseโ€ at around 1 AM. Simultaneously, a second team, under the leadership of West Deputy Superintendent Kailash Khoriwal, raided โ€œThe Sky Sign Holiday Home Farmhouseโ€ at 3:30 AM. The farmhouses, located just 1.5 kilometers apart, were reportedly hosting lavish parties with loud music and illicit activities.

According to the police, each guest paid an entry fee of โ‚น10,000 to attend the parties, which featured women performing obscene dances while men showered them with cash. Foreign currency, drugs, and alcohol were recovered from the scene.

Key Arrests and Recoveries

The raids led to the arrest of individuals from different states, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Assam, and even Nepal. Among those apprehended was NRI Jigar Shah, a 42-year-old resident of Stonebrook, USA. Shah was found in possession of $4,000 in American currency, equivalent to approximately โ‚น3.2 lakh.

Escorts included Zoya (24) from Rohini, Delhi, Geetika (22) from Assam, Pooja (30) from Surat, Sushma (35) from Nepal, and Seema Patel (27) from Mehsana, Gujarat.

Additionally, several men in their 40s and 50s, including residents of Ahmedabad, were taken into custody. Drugs such as marijuana, alcohol bottles, and a Gujarat-registered car were seized during the operation.

Details of the Parties

Police reported that the parties were organized with elaborate planning, involving escort services and a high entry fee. Upon raiding the farmhouses, officers found women dressed in provocative clothing performing dances to loud music. Currency notes were being thrown around, some scattered on the floor. The parties continued into the early hours, with the scene described as chaotic and unlawful.

The main organizer, Amit Pradhan, allegedly facilitated the event at the Piyakal Priyank PP Farmhouse. The Sky Sign Holiday Home Farmhouse was operated by Veerendra Kumar and Siddharth Gehlot, who reportedly collaborated with brokers Ritu and Rahul Rathore to arrange escort services.

Police Statements and Further Action

SP Yogesh Goyal, addressing the media, stated that the raids were conducted after thorough verification of the tip-off. โ€œBoth locations were under surveillance before the raids. The operation was executed to ensure no escape routes for those involved,โ€ Goyal said. He confirmed that cases have been registered against the accused, including charges under the NDPS Act for possession of drugs and other applicable laws.

Deputy SP Surveer Singh added that the interrogation of those arrested is ongoing, and more details about the network involved in organizing such parties are expected to emerge.

A Network Spanning States and Borders

The presence of individuals from multiple states and a Nepalese woman highlights the widespread nature of the network involved. Escorts were reportedly brought in from Delhi, Gujarat, Assam, and Nepal to cater to the guests, who included businessmen, NRIs, and professionals.

The Role of Technology

Investigators revealed that social media and encrypted messaging platforms were used to coordinate the parties. Invitations were sent discreetly, and payments were made digitally to avoid suspicion. However, the meticulous planning was undone by a reliable informant, who alerted the police to the ongoing activities.

Community Response and Legal Implications

The raids have drawn mixed reactions from the community. While many locals applauded the police for taking decisive action, others expressed concerns over the growing prevalence of such events in Udaipur, a city known for its rich cultural heritage.

Legal experts predict that those arrested may face severe penalties if found guilty. Charges related to drug possession, human trafficking, and obscenity are being considered.
