Mumbai, May 3: Actress Rashmika Mandanna celebrated her younger sister Shiman Mandanna’s 13th birthday with a heartfelt social media post on Saturday.
Sharing a warm hug with her sister on this special occasion, Rashmika wrote on the photo-sharing app, “Happy 13th birthday to my dear! Being 13 is so much fun, so enjoy it to the fullest. I love you so much, my darling. Sending you a big hug filled with love.”
The latest post from the ‘Animal’ actress features adorable pictures of her sister posing with her birthday cake, including a close-up shot of Shiman’s cake-covered face.
It’s noteworthy that there is a significant age gap of 16 years between Rashmika and her sister. The ‘Pushpa’ actress has often expressed that she considers Shiman like her own daughter.
Recently, Shiman was spotted attending the wedding of Rashmika and actor Vijay Deverakonda in Udaipur.
On the professional front, Rashmika will soon be seen in a leading role in the highly anticipated action thriller ‘Maysa’ directed by Ravindra Pulle. The team has recently commenced a 15-day shooting schedule in Kerala.
Earlier, it was reported that Rashmika underwent rigorous training at a stunt and combat boot camp in Bangkok, Thailand, to prepare for the action-packed scenes in the film. Sources indicate that the ‘Girlfriend’ actress trained for over eight hours daily for ‘Maysa.’
In her upcoming film, Rashmika will portray a tribal Gond girl. The main cast of ‘Maysa’ includes Eeshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh, along with other notable actors.
Additionally, Rashmika will share the screen for the first time with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the much-anticipated film ‘Cocktail 2.’ Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner, this film is a sequel to the 2012 romantic comedy ‘Cocktail,’ which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Daina Penty.
