
Mumbai, May 5: Actress Rashmika Mandanna announced the successful completion of a lengthy shooting schedule for her highly anticipated film ‘Mysa’ in Kerala on Tuesday. She shared this news via her Instagram account.
In her Instagram Stories, Rashmika posted a video featuring her smiling alongside the entire team. Despite the exhaustion from the shoot, the joy of completing the project was evident on everyone’s faces.
Expressing her gratitude, Rashmika wrote, “Friends, a quick update: we have successfully wrapped a long schedule for ‘Mysa’ in Kerala. These are some wonderful people who worked incredibly hard to make this project possible. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I will return to the set soon.”
Rashmika’s role in ‘Mysa’ is set to be quite different and challenging compared to her previous characters. Many crucial scenes have been filmed in the beautiful locations of Kerala. She also tagged director Ravindra Pulle and the production house ‘Unformula Films’ for this fantastic experience.
‘Mysa’ is an action thriller where Rashmika portrays a woman from the Gond tribe. The film is directed by Ravindra Pulle and produced by Ajay and Anil Saiyapurreddy under their banner, Unformula Films. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The release date for the film has not yet been announced.
In addition to ‘Mysa’, Rashmika will also appear in ‘Cocktail-2’ alongside Shahid and Kriti Sanon. This film is a sequel to the 2012 hit ‘Cocktail’ and is set to hit theaters on June 19, 2026. Directed by Homi Adajania, the story revolves around modern relationships, emotions, and a love triangle.
