Rani Mukerji on Daughter Adira’s Future: “I Want Her to Be Strong and Confident”

Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji recently opened up about her daughter Adira’s upbringing during a special session with women police officers from Delhi Police. Known for her candidness, Rani shared her views on motherhood and raising a confident child.

When asked whether she wishes her daughter Adira to pursue acting and work in films in the future, Rani responded with simplicity and honesty. She said, “Right now, Adira is learning Taekwondo. I want her to become physically and mentally strong.”

Rani explained that learning Taekwondo has helped Adira build self-confidence and feel more empowered. She added, “Whatever path Adira chooses in the future, whether related to films or any other field, I will always support and stand by her.”

Speaking further about life and happiness, Rani said, “Happiness is the biggest priority in life. As a daughter, sister, and mother, I have learned that when a person stays happy, they can spread happiness to those around them. I want Adira to be happy and confident in whatever path she takes.”

Rani also emphasised the importance of girls being strong and independent in today’s world. She stated, “Change in society is possible only when women learn to trust themselves. As a mother, I am teaching my daughter never to compromise on her happiness and dignity.”
