Patna, February 22: Central Minister Ramnath Thakur has sharply criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of consistently attempting to tarnish India’s image. Speaking to the media in Patna, Thakur stated that everyone is aware of Gandhi’s actions aimed at discrediting the nation while also damaging his own reputation.

During the AI Summit held at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, Delhi, the Youth Congress staged a shirtless protest, prompting strong reactions from BJP and NDA leaders. Calls for an apology directed at Rahul Gandhi have intensified following the incident.

In response to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s comments on Bihar’s law and order situation, Thakur remarked that opposition parties are expected to criticize the government. He emphasized that if crimes occur in Bihar, actions are being taken, and criminals are being imprisoned, with investigations underway.

Bihar Minister Deepak Prakash commented on the AI Summit, stating that whenever Rahul Gandhi has had the opportunity, he has attempted to damage the country’s reputation. He noted that this mindset seems to have permeated the Congress workers, who are constantly looking for ways to undermine India’s image. The AI Summit was a significant event, and dissent does not justify disrespecting it. Opposition parties should honor the summit, which featured participants from the technology sector. The Youth Congress’s protest was deemed disgraceful.

BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy added that the challenges faced by Congress leadership in Parliament have turned into a subject of ridicule. Following this incident, the Congress party, particularly Rahul Gandhi’s faction, has become a laughingstock globally.
