Mumbai, 25 August (Kiran News). Superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Coolie’ has faced tough competition at the box office from ‘War 2’, which released on 14 August. Despite the fierce clash, ‘Coolie’ has outperformed ‘War 2’ in terms of earnings and continues its impressive run in theatres even in the second week.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, ‘Coolie’ collected ₹10.75 crore on its 11th day (second Sunday) after release. With this, the film’s total domestic collection has reached ₹256.75 crore. Not just in India, the film is also performing exceptionally well overseas, with its worldwide collection now surpassing ₹470 crore. The estimated budget of ‘Coolie’ is around ₹350 crore.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is known for blockbuster films like ‘Kaithi’, ‘Vikram’, and ‘Master’, ‘Coolie’ features stars like Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Rachita Ram in prominent roles. Additionally, Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde make special cameo appearances, adding to the film’s surprise factor. Notably, ‘Coolie’ will soon have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video, though the streaming date is yet to be announced.
