Mumbai, April 8: Renowned actor Rajeev Khandelwal, famous for his powerful performances in Bollywood and television, is set to appear in a new avatar soon. He will star in the upcoming TV show ‘Tum Ho Na’.
Rajeev expressed, “I have always been drawn to challenging projects. I have received various role offers, some experimental and others unconventional. However, I have always followed my heart when accepting a project. I believe that the work a performer chooses should inspire them and feel meaningful to both themselves and the audience.”
Regarding his new show ‘Tum Ho Na’, Rajeev shared, “I am thrilled to be returning to Sony Entertainment Television. This show is close to my heart, and I hope fans will love it as much as I enjoyed creating it.”
Reports suggest that Rajeev’s show will replace Akshay Kumar’s quiz reality show ‘Wheel of Fortune’.
Rajeev was last seen in the courtroom drama ‘Amar Vishwas’, where he brilliantly portrayed the depth of his character. In an interview, he mentioned that he met several renowned lawyers to understand courtroom behavior and legal practices, which made it easier for him to play his role.
With over two decades in the entertainment industry, Rajeev began his career in 2000 with the Telugu film ‘Yuvakudu’. He has since worked in numerous successful Hindi and South Indian films and TV shows.
In the early 2000s, he gained popularity for his role as Sujal in the TV show ‘Kahi To Hoga’, alongside Aamna Sharif, Rohit Bakshi, Shabbir Ahluwalia, and Surveen Chawla. The show was produced and directed by Ekta Kapoor.
