Rajd Seeks Quick Action on Rebels, Sudhakar Singh Submits Report to Leadership

Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is poised to take prompt action against party members who rebelled during the recent elections. RJD Member of Parliament Sudhakar Singh revealed that a detailed review of leaders working against the party has been completed and a report has been submitted to the national president.

Speaking to the media, Sudhakar Singh said, “Several leaders contested elections as rebels and some actively worked against the party during the polls. The party conducted a thorough review and the report prepared after this extensive process has been handed over to the national president and the leader of the opposition. The party’s top leadership will take the necessary decisions, which will be announced within the next couple of days.”

Support for Tejashwi Yadav’s Statement on Bihar Elections

Sudhakar Singh backed RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s remark that “the public lost in Bihar while the system won,” raising questions about the election process. He stated that public opinion acknowledges irregularities in Bihar’s polls and asserted that such unfair practices will be eradicated in the future.

He elaborated, “In the name of improving the voter list, names of millions of voters were removed. Voting was underway even during the election period, while the Bihar government was transferring cash into people’s accounts. Under such circumstances, no election can be considered fair. The role of the system needs to be reviewed to prevent such incidents from recurring.”

Comments on Naseemuddin Siddiqui’s Resignation from Congress

Regarding Naseemuddin Siddiqui’s resignation from the Congress party, Sudhakar Singh noted, “Naseemuddin Siddiqui was earlier with the Bahujan Samaj Party before joining Congress. Naturally, any leader coming from another party takes time to understand the new party system. However, only the top leadership of a political party can explain the circumstances under which such decisions are made.”

With these developments, RJD appears set to consolidate its position by addressing internal dissent and responding to concerns over the electoral process in Bihar.
