Rajbhar Accuses Party Legislators of Betrayal in Uttar Pradesh Politics

Omprakash Rajbhar claims Abbas Ansari and Jagdish Narayan have betrayed the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party by siding with the Samajwadi Party.

Lucknow, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : Omprakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has voiced strong criticism of party legislators Abbas Ansari and Jagdish Narayan regarding their alleged cross-voting in the recent Rajya Sabha elections. Rajbhar stated that both legislators have been aligned with the Samajwadi Party (SP) since their election victories, asserting that they deceived the SBSP.

In an interview, Rajbhar remarked, “They have been with the Samajwadi Party since they won. They contested the elections under our symbol but were always with the SP.” He accused SP leader Akhilesh Yadav of betrayal, claiming, “This is a clear case of deceit. Akhilesh promised us 16 seats but only fielded 12 candidates. These individuals have been parading with the SP’s banner since the elections.”

Rajbhar also addressed the recent changes within the Uttar Pradesh Congress, noting that such restructuring is common for political parties to enhance their outreach and electoral prospects. He commented on Imran Masood, stating, “He is not the owner; Sonia Gandhi is. We urge her to declare a Muslim candidate for Chief Minister, given that the Muslim community has consistently supported Congress.”

Furthermore, Rajbhar criticized O.P. Rajbhar’s comments regarding a student protest led by Abhijeet Deepke concerning the NEET exam. He suggested that Deepke should focus on genuine student issues rather than engage in politics. “If he wants to protest, he should do so genuinely for the students’ interests,” Rajbhar added.

He concluded by alleging that Deepke is receiving foreign funding aimed at undermining the government and leaking sensitive information abroad, emphasizing the need for integrity in political discourse.
