Rajasthan’s Special Guests Invited to Republic Day Parade 2025 in Delhi

Jaipur, January 22 : In a bid to enhance public participation in events of national significance, 65 distinguished guests from Rajasthan, representing various sectors and achievements, have been invited to witness the 76th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi on January 26, 2025.

Honoring Excellence Across Categories

The invitees represent diverse fields, with notable contributions in sports, renewable energy, water conservation, infrastructure, and traditional crafts.

Paralympic Champions Take the Lead

Among the distinguished guests are 16 internationally acclaimed para-athletes, including Paralympic champions Avani Lekhara, Mona Agarwal, and Sundar Singh Gurjar, who have brought glory to India with their outstanding performances on the global stage.

PM-KUSUM Beneficiaries Recognized

Eleven beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme, such as Sunita Devi Meena and Chhotu Lal Kumhar, will be honored for their pioneering efforts in renewable energy adoption and sustainable practices.

Contributions to Renewable Energy

The renewable energy sector is well represented by 18 special guests, including Narendra Khande and Vijay Rathore, who have played pivotal roles in advancing India’s clean energy mission.

Acknowledging Achievements in Water Conservation

Six guests from Rajasthan have been recognized for their remarkable contributions to water conservation, a vital issue in the arid state. Meenu and Sunita are among those whose efforts in sustainable water management have earned them this honor.

Infrastructure Development

Eight individuals from the road construction sector, who have played a key role in enhancing connectivity and infrastructure in Rajasthan, have also been invited to witness the grand celebrations.

Traditional Crafts and Skill Development

Acknowledging the importance of traditional crafts and skill development, Mohammed Sadiq, a handloom artisan, and five beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, including Poonam Chand and Babu Lal Kumawat, will represent Rajasthan’s vibrant cultural heritage and craftsmanship.
