Jaipur, January 23: The weather in Rajasthan has shifted yet again following light rainfall in several districts on Thursday, January 23, due to the impact of a Western Disturbance. Meteorologists predict a drop in temperatures across the state, with a cold wave likely to persist until January 30.

Meanwhile, Bharatpur witnessed intermittent rainfall from Wednesday night until Thursday morning, causing waterlogging in several areas, including the Basan Gate locality.

Rain also affected regions like Nadbai, Rupwas, Rudawal, and Bayana, leading to a noticeable dip in temperatures.

The Meteorological Centre Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for dense fog in several districts, including:

The rainfall in Bharatpur caused significant disruptions:

  • Waterlogging was reported in urban areas such as Basan Gate.
