Rajasthan Leaders Demand High-Level Probe into Sadhvi’s Mysterious Death

Jaipur: The mysterious death of Rajasthan’s renowned storyteller and devotional singer, Prem Baisa, has sparked widespread outrage among her followers and has now reached the state assembly.

Leaders from all political parties have demanded a high-level investigation into the case, while the state government has assured a thorough probe.

Opposition leader Tikaram Juli and BJP MLA Balamukund Acharya from Hawa Mahal raised the issue in the assembly, describing the circumstances of the Sadhvi’s death as suspicious.

They called for the formation of a high-level committee to ensure transparency and conduct a detailed inquiry.

Addressing the media within the assembly premises, Balamukund Acharya said that Sadhvi Prem Baisa played a significant role in connecting people with Sanatan Dharma.

He emphasized that doubts and questions raised by devotees must be resolved, and a high-level investigation is essential to bring the truth before the public. He also demanded strict action against those attempting to tarnish the Sadhvi’s image.

Tikaram Juli stated that devotees across the state are deeply shocked by her sudden demise.

He stressed the need for a fair and impartial probe to restore public trust and uncover the truth.

Meanwhile, State Home Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham said the police are investigating the case from every possible angle.

He explained that multiple aspects have emerged in the case. The family claims the death was due to a wrong injection, while hospital authorities maintain that the Sadhvi was brought in already deceased. The matter has also gained wide attention on social media. Authorities are awaiting the postmortem report, after which all facts will be made public.

Sadhvi Prem Baisa was cremated in her ancestral village Pareu last Friday with full religious and traditional rituals. Her mortal remains were immersed at the Shiv Shakti Dham Ashram, which she had established.
