Udaipur, 28th March 2025: As Rajasthan prepares to commemorate its 76th Foundation Day, Hindustan Zinc Limited (NSE: HINDZINC) has marked the occasion with a groundbreaking Sakhi Fest, a celebration dedicated to the empowerment of rural women across the state. The event, held in Zinc City, Udaipur, spotlighted the company’s commitment to social impact and its pivotal role in Rajasthan’s economic landscape.

Empowering Rural Women Through Sakhi Fest

Hindustan Zinc’s flagship Sakhi initiative, designed to mobilize and empower rural women, has positively impacted over 25,000 lives through employment and credit-linkage opportunities. The Sakhi Fest, a first-of-its-kind event, brought together women from various districts, showcasing the rich tapestry of Rajasthan’s art, culture, and tradition. The festival featured over 30 interactive stalls, entertainment zones, and live performances, including demonstrations of block printing, pottery, and weaving. The event also highlighted the culinary diversity of Rajasthan and India, alongside a cultural lineup featuring the Nizami Brothers and other renowned artists.
