Ranchi, April 16, 2025 — In a welcome turn of weather, Ranchi and surrounding regions witnessed a significant drop in temperature following 15mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature plummeted to 17.9°C, giving residents a much-needed respite from the April heat.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the temperature in Ranchi fell by three degrees, creating a cooler climate reminiscent of winter months. The weather turned pleasant, and residents experienced an unusual November-December-like chill in mid-April.
