New Delhi, February 18: The political rhetoric surrounding the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026′ held in Delhi has intensified. Issues, claims, and allegations related to the summit have put the ruling party and the opposition face to face.

In response to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s post on the social media platform ‘X’, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi stated that it reflects a negative mindset. He emphasized that if any shortcomings arise during such a large-scale event, the concerned department conducts a review.

Rahul Gandhi had posted on X, stating, “Instead of leveraging India’s talent and data, the AI Summit is merely a PR spectacle. Indian data is up for sale while Chinese products are being showcased.”

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal remarked, “Rahul Gandhi is now politically unemployed, and as a result, his sole focus has become creating controversies and making baseless statements.”

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan asserted that the event has infused new energy and enthusiasm among the youth of the country, aiding India in reaching new heights in the tech sector.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi sharply reacted to a controversy related to the AI Summit. She stated that the summit aims to foster innovation, explore new ideas, and develop learning models. However, if someone attempts to claim credit for another’s invention, it is outright theft and unacceptable for the nation.

She added that when such a large international event occurs with many prominent global figures involved, it is unacceptable to claim a technology as one’s achievement only for it to be later debunked. She also mentioned the need for an apology from Galgotias University regarding this matter.
