Rahul Gandhi Criticizes PM Modi and Amit Shah at Rally in Raebareli

Raebareli, May 20: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi made controversial remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah during the ‘Bahujan Swabhiman Sabha’ held in Lodhwari village, Raebareli. He labeled both leaders as traitors and accused them of selling the country. Gandhi claimed that the central government’s policies are leading the nation towards an economic crisis and undermining the core spirit of the Constitution.

While addressing the gathering, Rahul Gandhi warned of serious economic challenges ahead for the country. He asserted that international conditions and government policies would adversely affect the common people, resulting in rising inflation. He predicted increases in prices of essential commodities such as petrol, diesel, gas, lentils, and rice.

The Congress leader criticized the Prime Minister for advising the public against buying gold and traveling abroad, while those in power indulge in luxurious foreign trips. He expressed concern that farmers might soon face difficulties in accessing essential supplies like fertilizers. Gandhi emphasized that the Constitution symbolizes the voice and rights of the people.

He urged citizens to come forward to protect the Constitution, alleging that the RSS and BJP are attempting to weaken its fundamental spirit. During the rally, he launched a sharp attack on PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the RSS, holding them responsible for the current state of the nation.

Gandhi also stated that the central government would fail to provide relief to the public in the event of an economic crisis. He drew parallels to the criticisms faced by the government during the COVID pandemic and demonetization, suggesting that the public may encounter similar hardships in the future. Rahul Gandhi arrived in Raebareli on May 19 for a two-day visit and met with patients at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Amethi on Wednesday.
