Amritsar, June 24: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated that on June 19, during a special operation by the Border Security Force (BSF), a young man named Karan was arrested. According to Dhaliwal, authorities recovered 25 pistols, an AK-47 rifle, a bulletproof vest, and 388 cartridges from the arrested individual.
Dhaliwal claimed that Karan’s father, Shiv Kumar, is the district president of the BJP’s Scheduled Caste (SC) cell. He mentioned that his party had raised concerns a month earlier about the BJP potentially trying to disrupt the peace in Punjab. Dhaliwal warned that the BJP would go to any lengths to gain power, even if it meant harming Punjab.
He urged the people of Punjab to remain vigilant and avoid the BJP. Dhaliwal emphasized that the state’s residents must stand against the BJP to maintain the social and communal harmony of Punjab.
Additionally, Dhaliwal responded to a controversial remark made by a BJP leader in Patiala regarding the Muslim community. He suggested that the leader should first study the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Dhaliwal accused the BJP leader of making offensive comments against Muslims.
He reminded that Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s rule was known for respecting and promoting the welfare of people from all religions and castes. Dhaliwal recalled that former Chief Minister Badal often expressed a desire to emulate Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s governance.
He questioned those who invoke the name of such a great ruler, urging them to understand his ideals and values. Maharaja Ranjit Singh was known for respecting all religions, castes, and communities, working for their welfare.
