New Delhi, May 21: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for young individuals looking to kickstart their professional careers in the banking sector. Punjab and Sind Bank has issued an official notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 635 apprentice positions based on state or union territory.

The online application process for these positions commenced on Thursday, with the final date for applications set for June 6. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can complete their registration on the official portal before or by the deadline.

Applicants must possess a regular graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university or institution, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government. Additionally, candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the respective state or union territory.

The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is capped at 28 years, calculated as of May 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a merit list, physical/medical health assessments, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹200 plus applicable taxes for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹100 plus applicable taxes for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
