Puducherry, April 20 : Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred Puducherry Chief Secretary Ashwini Kumar to the National Capital, an Order said on Tuesday evening. It posted Rajeev Verma, IAS., presently working in Arunachal Pradesh as the Chief Secretary of the on Territory. It may be noted during the previous Congress-DMK regime, the then Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Parida was transferred following an allegation by the then Lt.Governor Kiran Bedi that he is functioning in support of Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and Ashwini Kumar was posted to the UT in November 2017. After the change of government, it was stated that there was difference of opinion between Ashwini Kumar and the present Chief Minister N Rangaswamy.
