Public Support for Modi Leads to Change Amidst Oppression in West Bengal

New Delhi, May 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party workers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, reflecting on the mandate received in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry. A large crowd of supporters and senior leaders gathered to hear his speech. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw remarked, “This is a victory of trust. We have complete confidence.”

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad stated, “There was no doubt. The people of Bengal were determined for change. The oppression, arrogance, dictatorship, looting, violence, and lawlessness led the public to stand with Prime Minister Modi for change. We are fully committed to the development of Bengal.”

Former Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi highlighted, “Infiltration is a significant issue for Bengal. There are concerns regarding infiltrators, women’s safety, child development, and health. The public has chosen the BJP due to these persistent problems.”

Lekhi added, “The exit polls somewhat align with the opinions of those who voted.”

A BJP supporter commented on the election results in Assam and West Bengal, saying, “I feel great. Our people are telling you they are very happy. I believe change is here to stay. With PM Modi, everything is possible.”

A BJP female worker expressed, “We have long awaited victory in Kolkata and West Bengal. Our joy over the BJP’s win is beyond words. We have wanted BJP for the past 15 years.”

A woman attending the event remarked, “Women protested in West Bengal. As a result, Mamata Banerjee has been removed from power. This was meant to happen, and it has.”

Another BJP female worker stated, “Bengal has turned completely saffron. We are very happy. All residents of Delhi, all of India, and all of West Bengal are thrilled.”

One more woman shared, “I am very happy about the new government. Our Prime Minister and BJP workers have invited everyone for a feast.”
