Paris, February 8: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be without Fabián Ruiz as they gear up to face Olympique de Marseille in the much-anticipated Le Classique this Sunday night.
Ruiz is still on the road to recovery from a knee injury he sustained against Sporting CP at the end of January. PSG confirmed that he has missed four consecutive matches due to this setback.
In brighter news for the team, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to return after recovering from an ankle sprain he suffered in a match against Newcastle United last month.
However, the team will also be missing Quentin Ndjantou, who will undergo surgery for his hamstring injury, as confirmed by coach Luis Enrique. This injury will sideline him for several months.
Additionally, Achraf Hakimi is unavailable for this clash due to a suspension following his red card against RC Strasbourg Alsace last weekend.
PSG’s Predicted Line-up Against Marseille
Matvei Safonov; Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Marquinhos, Warren Zaire-Emery; Senny Mayulu, Vitinha, Joao Neves; Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué. (L’Éq)
