Mumbai, December 1 – Through her hard work and determination, Priyanka Chopra has completed her journey from Bollywood to Hollywood. The actress had to struggle considerably in Hindi cinema as well, but now she has become a global star and is winning fans’ hearts with both Bollywood and Hollywood films. However, even today Priyanka says that she has a lot more to achieve in Hollywood.
Priyanka Chopra stepped into Hollywood in 2015 with the American TV series ‘Quantico’ and subsequently worked in projects like ‘Baywatch’, ‘Isn’t It Romantic’, ‘The White Tiger’, ‘The Matrix Resurrections’, ‘Heads of States’, and action thriller series ‘Citadel’. Speaking about her Hollywood journey, Priyanka Chopra told Daily Kiran, “I think about all this a bit, because as an artist I still have much more work to do in the English language. I feel I haven’t even started yet. I have done almost every kind of work in Hindi cinema and now I want to do similar work at the international level.”
Priyanka further said that she wants to work in projects whose characters or films are connected to culture and from which people get inspiration. Speaking about her own film production company Purple Pebble Pictures, the actress said that she wants to work on more beautiful stories like ‘Born Hungry’. Along with establishing her mark in Hollywood, Priyanka also wants to support those artists, producers and directors who are looking for a platform or opportunity to showcase their talent. She said that we like to bring forward those artists, whether they are filmmakers, writers, actors, or any talent that wants to make their mark worldwide. We want to give them a platform. She further said that supporting filmmakers, writers and actors who need a global platform remains our main focus.
