Priyanka Chaturvedi Blames Syndicate for NEET-UG 2026 Paper Leak

New Delhi, May 13: Following the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 exam due to alleged irregularities by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Shiv Sena-UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi claimed on Tuesday that a ‘syndicate’ and a network of brokers are responsible for the paper leak.

In a video message posted on the social media platform X, Chaturvedi stated that a syndicate has been formed to leak exam papers, operating fearlessly under the current government.

She accused the BJP-led central government of failing to take accountability, calling the situation extremely shameful.

The former MP expressed concern for the mental state of the millions of students who participated in the exam. She noted that after hours of hard work, students were informed that their exam had been cancelled, forcing them to prepare all over again.

Chaturvedi further questioned the feelings of parents who have worked tirelessly to fulfill their children’s dreams.

Referring to the alleged irregularities in the 2024 NEET-UG exam, she pointed out that it is the same government and education minister under whose tenure the exam paper was leaked previously.

She recalled that during the 2024 NEET paper leak incident, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had announced the formation of a seven-member committee to strengthen the NTA.

Chaturvedi asked, “What was the outcome of the investigation report and the committee’s formation? How has the government ensured accountability?”

She questioned how long such incidents that jeopardize students’ futures will continue.

Additionally, Chaturvedi emphasized the need for preventive measures to be taken at an early stage to avoid punitive actions. She asked why the government does not implement measures to prevent such occurrences.
