Mumbai, March 28: The reality show ‘The 50’ has concluded, with Shiv Thakare claiming the winner’s trophy. Throughout the season, a strong bond was evident between Shiv and Prince Narula, who played a pivotal role in guiding Shiv to the finale. In a recent interview, Prince characterized their rivalry as a healthy competition.
When asked about the shift in the title of ‘King of Reality Shows’ from him to Shiv, Prince responded positively. “Absolutely, but in a constructive way. If this legacy moves to someone I have worked with or guided, I would be thrilled. If given another chance, I will certainly give my best again. I want the next generation to excel.”
The show also showcased significant tension between Prince Narula and Rajat Dalal, who were fierce competitors. Addressing their rivalry, Prince remarked, “It was all part of the game. Some create rivalries for attention, as controversies help them stay relevant. If they truly had talent, they wouldn’t need to resort to such tactics. It’s all part of their strategy.”
Regarding his aggressive demeanor on the show, Prince stated, “I am a very calm person. If you give me love and respect, I will reciprocate even more. However, if you unjustly point fingers at me, I will respond accordingly. It depends on how others behave. If someone’s actions warrant a strong response, I can become aggressive.”
The relationship between Prince and Arbaaz was notably tense, culminating in a physical altercation. Arbaaz slapped Prince following allegations of body-shaming his girlfriend, Nikki Tamboli, which led to Arbaaz’s exit from the show.
Discussing this incident, Prince explained, “We tried to control the situation as much as possible. That’s why we remained calm and composed on the show. Had we not done so, things could have escalated further. Yes, we handled it responsibly.”
He clarified, “I never intended to hurt anyone. It was a joke among friends. Sometimes, people create their own narratives. I also apologized because if someone feels hurt, it’s best to resolve it immediately. There was no ill intent behind it.”
