Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the India Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026, focusing on clean energy investment and innovation.

New Delhi, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the India Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026 on November 2, 2026, at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event will commence around 4:30 PM, where the Prime Minister will address attendees.

Running from November 2 to 5, this four-day summit will gather global policymakers, investors, financial institutions, and industry leaders. The primary goal is to promote investment, innovation, and international partnerships in the renewable energy sector. The theme for this year’s summit is “Invest, Innovate, Inspire.”

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, representatives from over 130 countries, including more than 40 ministers, will participate in the summit. It aims to serve as a global platform for investment in clean energy, industry participation, and technological partnerships.

Countries such as Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom will join as country partners for the event.

Thirteen states and union territories will showcase their potential in renewable energy, investment opportunities, and manufacturing capabilities. These include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

The summit will coincide with the ninth session of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) Assembly and the fourth International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH), bringing together three major platforms focused on clean energy.

While the India Renewable Energy Summit will emphasize investment, industry, and technological partnerships, the ISA Assembly will advance international cooperation in solar energy, focusing on finance and institutional capacity. The International Conference on Green Hydrogen will center on green hydrogen technologies, investment, and large-scale implementation.

The convergence of these three platforms is expected to strengthen international cooperation and accelerate the implementation of clean energy solutions.

Continuing the legacy of India’s premier renewable energy investment summit, RE-Invest, India RE 2026 will provide a comprehensive platform for global engagement and collaboration in the clean energy sector.

The summit will feature plenary sessions, ministerial discussions, CEO roundtables, and state-level sessions. It will also facilitate business-to-business, business-to-government, and government-to-government dialogues to promote investment, partnerships, and project development.

An accompanying expo will feature over 400 exhibitors showcasing advanced technologies, Indian manufacturing capabilities, and clean energy solutions. This will include sectors such as solar and wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, and other emerging areas of renewable energy.
