Prashant Kishor Questions Nitish Kumars Move to Rajya Sabha

Jammu, March 26: Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraj Party, criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his recent decision to join the Rajya Sabha. Kishor questioned why Kumar, who has the backing of 202 MLAs, feels the need to take this step.

During a media interaction in Jamui, Kishor stated that it is perplexing for many to understand Kumar’s motives for joining the Rajya Sabha when he has substantial legislative support. He emphasized that in a democracy, a leader with such backing should not need to seek a position in the Rajya Sabha. Kishor suggested that Kumar’s government was not formed based on his performance or popularity.

Kishor claimed that those who helped establish the NDA government in Bihar will now take charge following Kumar’s departure. He warned that the next government in Bihar would prioritize the interests of Gujarat, ensuring that there is no shortage of labor in factories there.

Regarding Jamui, Kishor mentioned a meeting with Jan Suraj members. He assured that regardless of the election outcomes, their commitment to bringing change to Bihar remains unwavering. He stated that whether it takes two years or five, anyone who desires improvements in education, employment, and a reduction in migration will be part of this movement.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently decided to join the Rajya Sabha and has won in the recent elections. He is currently on a ‘Prosperity Journey’, visiting various districts to lay the foundation for and inaugurate development projects. During these visits, many citizens have been urging him not to leave Bihar.
