Mumbai, May 9: Political tensions in Maharashtra have escalated following the arrest of Nida Khan, the main accused in the TCS corporate jihad case in Nashik. Leaders from Shiv Sena, BJP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) have called for a thorough investigation and strict action regarding the matter.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Raju Waghmare, in an interview with a news agency, made serious allegations against AIMIM, claiming that the party is spreading hatred in the country. He asserted that a municipal councilor attempted to hide Nida Khan, who is central to the “corporate jihad” case.
Waghmare emphasized that individuals aiding and abetting criminals should also be held accountable, as providing shelter to a wrongdoer is against the law and the constitution. He insisted that harsh actions should be taken against the mastermind behind the case, regardless of their political stature.
BJP legislator Sanjay Upadhyay linked the case to “corporate jihad,” stating that Nida Khan is the key figure in the entire incident. He accused her of being on the run since the event came to light, with assistance from an AIMIM councilor.
Upadhyay pointed out that this situation indicates the involvement of larger forces, not just a single individual. He urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to reveal the characters behind the scenes and take stringent action against them.
Meanwhile, Anand Dubey, spokesperson for Shiv Sena (UBT), also expressed strong reactions regarding the TCS conversion case and Nida Khan’s involvement. He called for decisive action from Chief Minister Fadnavis, stressing that any individual working against the nation should be subject to a fair investigation.
Dubey highlighted that India is a country of Hindu majorities, with a tradition of inclusivity among all religions, which is evident throughout the nation. He further stated that if any foreign forces or anti-national elements are attempting to weaken India from within, they must be thoroughly investigated, and the guilty should face severe penalties under the law. Dubey insisted that such actions should set a precedent to deter future criminal activities.
