PATNA, April 27: The political atmosphere in Bihar heated up during the Bhama Shah Jayanti celebration in Begusarai, where former Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha was the chief guest.
This event aimed to honor the legacy of Bhama Shah’s sacrifice, philanthropy, and patriotism. However, it quickly transformed into a platform for sharp political rhetoric.
Addressing the gathering, Sinha urged citizens to embody Bhama Shah’s selflessness and dedication to society and the nation. He emphasized that the ideals of such personalities continue to inspire and strengthen the country today.
The tone of the event shifted dramatically when Sinha launched a fierce attack on the opposition, particularly targeting the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and its leadership.
In response to ongoing criticism of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), he stated that concerns for dignity should not be ours; instead, it is Tejashwi Yadav and his family who should worry. We know how to uphold our honor.
His remarks stirred significant activity in political circles, further fueling the ongoing verbal battle in Bihar.
On the issue of corruption, Sinha reiterated the NDA government’s commitment to zero tolerance. He stressed that strict action would be taken wherever irregularities are found, making it clear that no one is above the law.
When asked about the reinstatement of a suspended circle officer, he dismissed any possibility of leniency.
Speaking on leadership in the state, Sinha also mentioned Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, asserting that party directives and organizational discipline are paramount. He affirmed that the NDA-led government operates with stability and strength.
