New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the inaugural session of the first All India Conference of District Legal Services Authorities today (Saturday). The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) gave this information. According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will address the inaugural session of the first All India District Legal Services Authority conference at Vigyan Bhawan on July 30 at 10:00 a.m. The conference is being organised under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) at Vigyan Bhawan. It will end on July 31.
The conference will consider the creation of an integrated process to bring about uniformity and coordination among all DLSAs. According to the PMO, there are a total of 676 District Legal Services Authorities in the country. These authorities are headed by the District Judge. He serves as its chairman.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the closing ceremony of Ujwal Bharat Ujwal Bhavishya-Power @ 2047 today. He will launch the reconstructed distribution area scheme for the power sector through video conferencing at 12:30 pm. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various green energy projects of NTPC worth more than Rs 5200 crore.
Prime Minister Modi has tweeted. He has said that today is a special day for the power sector. The Revamped Distribution Area Scheme will be launched at 12:30 pm. A National Solar Rooftop Portal will also be launched. Apart from this, various green energy projects will be started or their foundation stones will be laid.
It is noteworthy that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the government has made significant reforms in the power sector. This has brought a change in this area. About 18,000 villages have been electrified. This shows the commitment of the government to giving benefits to the last person standing in the queue. The objective of this scheme is to improve the operational efficiency and financial position of discom companies and power departments.
