Prime Minister Modi reacted to a post by Suvendu Adhikari, stating that the welfare of my brothers and sisters in West Bengal is paramount. He expressed joy that the state’s residents will benefit from Ayushman Bharat, which is one of the world’s largest health care schemes, ensuring high-quality and affordable health services. Furthermore, the ‘double engine’ government will ensure the uninterrupted implementation of central schemes.
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari shared on X that he chaired the first cabinet meeting and made six significant decisions to restore the state’s lost glory. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the people of West Bengal will now receive benefits from the Prime Minister’s key health initiative. Arrangements have been made to immediately allocate land to the Border Security Force (BSF) for fencing at the border, which is to be completed within 45 days. In line with the promises made in the manifesto, the age limit for applicants seeking state government jobs has been increased by five years, providing relief to those who lost valuable time during the previous government.
