New Delhi, 2 January: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an inspiring message on social media on Friday, encouraging people to move forward in life with strong determination, clear purpose, and confidence in the new year.

On the social media platform ‘X’, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “My wish is that you achieve success in every effort in the coming times. May your resolutions be fulfilled in the new year with firm resolve and willpower.”

He shared a cultural subhashit, saying, “उत्थातव्यं जागृतव्यं योक्तव्यं भूतिकर्मसु. भविष्यतीत्येव मनः कृत्वा सततमव्यथैः.”

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of India Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan, Prime Minister Modi remembered him with respect on Friday. In his ‘X’ post, he wrote, “On Mannathu Padmanabhan’s birth anniversary, we remember a great personality with high honour, who dedicated his life to social service. He was a visionary who believed that true progress lies in self-respect, equality, and social reform. His special contributions in health, education, and women empowerment are inspiring. His thoughts will always guide us on our journey to build a society full of justice, compassion, and unity.”

In the past two days, the Prime Minister’s messages have combined inspirational guidance with cultural and philosophical reflections. Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Modi extended heartfelt New Year greetings to the countrymen, wishing for peace, prosperity, and overall welfare in society.

He posted, “Heartfelt greetings to all for 2026. May this year bring new hopes, new resolutions, and renewed confidence to everyone. May all be inspired to move forward in life.”

Through the subhashit, PM Modi also highlighted that the goal of life is to be enriched with qualities such as knowledge, detachment, wealth, bravery, strength, capability, memory, freedom, skill, talent, patience, and gentleness.
