New Delhi, May 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat on May 10 and 11. During this trip, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several religious, social, and development projects. This visit is considered significant for promoting infrastructure, industrial growth, healthcare services, and cultural heritage.
On May 10, the Prime Minister will arrive in Bengaluru, where he will participate in the 45th anniversary celebration of the ‘Art of Living’ and the 70th birthday celebration of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He will inaugurate the newly constructed ‘Meditation Temple’ at the Art of Living International Center, aimed at promoting inner peace and mental health. Additionally, he will launch several new service initiatives related to mental wellness, rural development, environmental protection, and social change.
Following this, the Prime Minister will head to Hyderabad, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects worth approximately ₹9,400 crores. A key project under the Hyderabad-Panjim Economic Corridor is the four-lane expansion of National Highway-167 from Guddebellur to Mahbubnagar, costing over ₹3,175 crores. This project is expected to reduce travel time by about one and a half hours and enhance connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka.
In Sangareddy district, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area. This smart industrial township, with an estimated cost of ₹2,350 crores, will serve as a major hub for the automobile, food processing, and machinery industries, potentially attracting investments of around ₹10,000 crores and creating significant employment opportunities.
In Warangal, he will inaugurate the country’s first fully operational PM Mitra Park. This mega textile park, costing approximately ₹1,700 crores, aims to realize the Indian government’s ‘5F Vision’ and provide modern logistics facilities for global trade.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate railway projects worth ₹1,535 crores to the nation, including the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking project and the Kazipet rail bypass. He will also inaugurate the Indian Oil Malakapur terminal project and the state-of-the-art ‘Sindhu Hospital’ in Hyderabad.
On May 11, the Prime Minister will visit Gujarat, where he will participate in the ‘Somnath Amrit Mahotsav’ at the Somnath Temple, marking the 75th anniversary of its reconstruction with special prayers. He will also release commemorative postage stamps and coins.
Afterward, he will inaugurate the ‘Sardar Dham Hostel’ in Vadodara, which will provide modern amenities such as hostels, libraries, dining facilities, and an e-library for students. The Prime Minister will address public gatherings in both states as well.
