New Delhi, September 16 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate Semicon India 2026 on September 17 at approximately 10 AM at the Yashobhoomi venue in New Delhi. During the event, he will address the attendees. The conference will see participation from over 600 companies and representatives across 52 countries, as announced by the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday.

Running from September 17 to 19, the three-day conference and exhibition will focus on the theme “From Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem.” It aims to bring together global and Indian companies, policymakers, investors, researchers, startups, educational institutions, and students involved in the semiconductor and electronics value chain.

The primary goal of the conference is to foster collaboration, investment, innovation, and talent development in India. It will feature parallel sessions on advancements in the display industry, six country roundtables designed to facilitate collaboration and joint ventures, and a platform dedicated to women’s leadership.

The event expects to attract around 50,000 visitors, including representatives from 52 countries, over 400 officials, and more than 150 speakers. The exhibition will feature six country pavilions representing Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Sweden, in addition to 12 state booths, a startup pavilion, an innovation showcase, a student hackathon, and a workforce development pavilion.
