PM Modi Pays Tribute to Maharana Pratap on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, May 9: On the occasion of Maharana Pratap’s birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP President Nitin Nabin, among other leaders, paid tribute to the great warrior on the social media platform ‘X’.

Prime Minister Modi expressed his respect in a post, stating, “On the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap, a symbol of valor and bravery, I pay my heartfelt tribute to this great warrior of our nation. He dedicated his life to protecting the honor and pride of our motherland. His indomitable courage and unwavering self-respect will continue to ignite the flame of patriotism in the hearts of our countrymen for generations to come.”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also remembered Maharana Pratap, emphasizing that he spent his entire life fighting for the defense and freedom of the motherland. In his post on ‘X’, Singh remarked that Maharana Pratap’s unparalleled courage, valor, and sacrifice will always be etched in golden letters in Indian history. His life continues to inspire the youth to fight for the honor and freedom of the nation.

BJP President Nitin Nabin described Maharana Pratap as a unique symbol of bravery, courage, and self-respect in his message. He noted that Maharana Pratap’s sacrifices, patriotism, and struggles have inspired people for centuries to remain steadfast in honoring their motherland. Nabin added that Maharana Pratap’s life encourages us to uphold our values and self-respect, even in challenging circumstances, as we strive to build a self-reliant and empowered nation.

It is noteworthy that Maharana Pratap Jayanti commemorates the birth of the great Rajput ruler of Mewar from the 16th century. Known as ‘Veer Shiromani’, Maharana Pratap is remembered with pride and honor across the country for his struggle against the Mughal Empire, particularly for the Battle of Haldighati in 1576.
