PM Modi further emphasized the strong ties between India and Israel, noting, “You rightly mentioned that our relationship can be beneficial across many sectors. Israel excels in areas like science, innovation, and education, particularly in water management and agriculture. India is keen to adopt many of Israel’s successful practices, especially in agriculture, and we are seeing positive results.”
In inviting President Herzog to India, PM Modi said, “I am pleased to have met you in various places before. I have heard your clear thoughts and seen your respect for India, for which I am very grateful. The people of India are eager to welcome you. Therefore, I extend a special invitation for you to visit India. I urge you not to just come to Delhi and leave but to take some extra time to visit other institutions, allowing more people to welcome you.”
President Herzog responded, “I encourage your bright young Indian students to come study in Israel. I also urge Israeli students to study in India. This connectivity between Israel and India can transform the entire geostrategic landscape for the benefit of the Global South.
