New Delhi, 30 December: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India’s growth story, from labour codes to trade agreements and energy and market reforms, is built on stability, reliability, and long-term trust.
The Prime Minister’s Office India quoted Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri’s post on social media platform X, stating, “Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has written an article on Reform Express 2025. He describes the calm, cumulative process of governance through which weekly hurdles are being removed.”
In his article, the Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas explained how the reforms introduced by the Modi government are making it easier to do business and increasing investor confidence.
Puri described “Reform Express 2025” as a continuous governance approach where obstacles are removed gradually and methodically rather than by sudden, large changes.
He added that in a politically unstable and uncertain global environment, Narendra Modi’s stable leadership stands out distinctly.
The minister highlighted key reforms such as the labour code, major trade agreements, the Securities Market Code Bill, and the Indian Ports Act 2025 as strong foundations for sustained economic growth.
He also noted that the Peace Bill represents a significant step towards modernising India’s civil nuclear framework.
According to the Union Minister, these reforms follow a clear pattern of repealing outdated laws, removing minor offences from the criminal category, modernising labour compliance, strengthening market monitoring, digitising business processes, improving logistics, and reducing risks in long-term energy investments.
