PM Modi addresses rallies in Charkhi Dadri, Thanesar

Congress leaders are opposing it.He welcomed improved gender ratio in Haryana, saying it reflects a social transformation while urging all to dedicate this year’s Diwali to the daughters of India.

Haryana has emerged as the land of medal winners in several sports. PM Modi said that the Khelo India initiative was tailor-made to tap and hone rural talent.

Hailing the villages of Haryana that have powered social change in recent times, PM Modi listed the initiatives taken by his government to empower women.  

Recounting the success of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao mission in Haryana, Prime Minister called on the nation to follow the example set by the state by dedicating Diwali to daughters.

PM also saluted the families who send their sons and daughters to the forces to ensure the safety of the nation. 

He listed his govt’s initiatives for the welfare of armed forces and their families. Scholarships for the children of martyrs has been increased. 

The children of police as well as central police forces are now covered by these grants. Allowances of those serving in Siachen has been doubled while those for counter insurgency ops has been tripled.  

Prime Minister credited his government for securing the rights of farmers, including stopping the flow of irrigation waters into Pakistan.

In Kurukshetra, Prime Minister hit out at the Congress for its negativity on every issue ranging from the success of the Swacch Bharat mission to the Rafale purchase. He questioned the party for its double speak on Article 370.

90 Assembly seats in Haryana goes to polls on the 21st of October. BJP has launched Mission 75 plus. With Congress battling infighting in the state, all eyes are on 25th of October to see which way the voters verdict goes.
