Shanghai, April 10: Philips has launched the 24B2N2200G, a new 23.8-inch monitor featuring a 1080p IPS panel in China. Priced at 649 yuan ($95) on JD.com, this monitor offers an affordable option with impressive features.
The 24B2N2200G utilizes an IPS panel that delivers a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It boasts a 16:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 93 PPI. With a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and a brightness level of 350 nits, the monitor ensures vibrant visuals.
This model provides accurate colors with an 8-bit color depth, supporting 16.7 million colors. Philips claims a wide color gamut coverage of 111% sRGB and 101% NTSC, making it ideal for office tasks and casual gaming.
The monitor supports a 144Hz refresh rate via HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 connections, along with a 4ms gray-to-gray response time to minimize motion blur.
Additionally, the monitor features several eye-care technologies, including a low blue light filter to reduce harmful blue light exposure, DC dimming to eliminate flicker and lessen eye strain, and an EasyRead mode for a paper-like display that is perfect for reading.
