Mumbai, May 7: Palak Tiwari, daughter of renowned television actress Shweta Tiwari, has quickly carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry. Since her entry into Bollywood, she has remained in the spotlight. Now, Palak is eager to choose roles that challenge her and reveal her true acting potential. In a recent interview, she discussed her upcoming OTT series ‘Lukkhe’ and shared what drew her to this project.
During the conversation, Palak expressed her desire to seek out characters with depth. She humorously remarked, “I have done enough ‘easy acting’ so far. Now, I want to prove myself as a strong artist. That’s why I chose a serious and emotional story like ‘Lukkhe.’”
Palak revealed that during the auditions for this series, she was not given much information about the story or her character. She was only provided with two or three scenes to read. However, upon reading those scenes, she became emotional. “One scene made me tear up while reading it. Interestingly, I didn’t even know the full concept of the story at that time, yet I connected with it deeply,” she shared.
The actress noted, “It’s a special feeling for any artist when a story touches the heart directly. Sometimes, actors read scripts but fail to connect emotionally. However, the story of ‘Lukkhe’ impacted me profoundly. At that moment, I decided I had to be part of this project.”
Palak added, “When an actor genuinely feels the emotions of the story, performing becomes much easier. This series has given me a chance to do something new and different. Engaging in such serious and emotional drama has always been my dream. A strong narrative inspires artists to perform better.”
Palak Tiwari made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’ Now, she is set to step into the OTT space with her new series ‘Lukkhe,’ which also features rapper King, Shivankit Parihar, Lakshveer Singh Saran, and Raashi Khanna.
‘Lukkhe’ is scheduled to premiere on the OTT platform on May 8.
